About Mark Dou
With over 20 years in the medical device industry — including 15+ years of senior engineering management at Fortune 500 companies — Mark Dou brings deep expertise in medical cable assembly and wire harness engineering for global top-tier OEM brands. His experience spans the complete OEM collaboration lifecycle: RFQ, concept design, DFM, VAVE, engineering prototyping, EVT/DVT, MVP, MSA, process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), pilot run, mass production, lean manufacturing, and change management.
With more than 15 years of manufacturing process development for cable assemblies and wire harnesses under ISO 13485 and IPC/WHMA-A-620/610 standards, Mark has proven expertise in new product design verification for mechanical and electrical performance — including tensile strength, reliability, flex life, mate/unmate cycling, low noise, hipot, dielectric strength, temperature shock, safety, contact resistance, defibrillation, and simulator signal testing — meeting international standards (EC53, IEC 60601-1) and domestic standards (YY0828-2011).
Prior to Orantech, Mark held key engineering management roles at Amphenol and Carlisle Medical Technology — two Fortune 500 American medical device manufacturers — where he delivered project coordination and management for global top-tier OEM brands including Medtronic, Philips, GE, Masimo, Mindray, Spacelabs, Covidien, Draeger, Cardinal, Zoll, Edwards, Olympus, Stryker, Abbott, Schiller, Benchmark, Siemens, and Physio-Control, across monitoring, surgical, imaging, wearable, healthcare, and industrial applications. He successfully launched hundreds of new products into large-scale production for these clients, with a strong record of customer satisfaction.
