Manufacturer and e-commerce platform for the medical device aftermarket
With over 35 years in the medical device industry, Liming Xue has grown from an R&D engineer into the founder of multiple medical device companies — combining deep technical expertise with entrepreneurial vision.
As Founder & Owner of Orantech Inc. (established 2015) and Medten, Liming has built a vertically integrated ecosystem for the medical device aftermarket. Orantech is the specialized manufacturer of medical cables and parts, while Medten is the cross-border e-commerce platform connecting these products — and a broader catalog of 12,000+ medical aftermarket parts — to healthcare providers worldwide. In January 2024, he expanded the group's US footprint by acquiring Beta Biomed as a US-based manufacturing and service center.
Liming graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) with a degree in Biomedical Engineering and currently serves as Vice President of the SJTU BME Alumni Association, maintaining strong ties to the academic community that shapes the next generation of biomedical engineers.
